The following information was submitted by Stephanie Reeves:
A prominent figure in the Houston art community, Robert Weimerskirch lives and works in Wimberley, Texas. Much of his art, both painting and sculpture, is based on his "thoughts and improvisations," and rooted in classical themes. A native of Luxembourg, Weimerskirch received his art education from the Academie Royale des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Bruxelles and the Academia di Belli Arti Brera, Milan. Additionally, he has taught drawing and painting at the University of Houston; The Glassell School of Art, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and the Houston Art League.
